Digital manipulation – ghostly faces

Awesome digital art by Alberto Seveso. You often see photographers saying bad things about digital manipulation, or complaining how instagr.am tries to make a photographer out of anyone.

Well, here’s something remarkable, artistic and innovative one can do when manipulating a photo on his computer.

Sinestesy: sound sculptures

What if music could be combined with paint in order to create sculptures? And what if these sculptures could dance?

That’s what the guys on the Dentsu Studio did. They put a few drops of paint on a rubber membrane, affected by the sound vibrations generated by a tiny speaker, and here’s what they came up with!

You can check the making of right here!

There’s more in a book than meets the eye

Guy Larame is multi-faced artist with over 30 years of experience.

One of his works is really impressive: he creates sculptures of landscapes using books as its   raw material. It’s great to see how something conceived to spread art through words can also be transformed into another piece of art.

Have a look at his website to have a full view of his great work! Here I share a few of his incredible images.
